It's me, Kelly Morris Rowan!
Voices of Liberty & Epcot's Candlelight Processional
I've been very lucky to have returned to full-time work starting in November of 2020 at Walt Disney World. (Many of my colleagues are still waiting to return! Keep asking for live entertainment, please!!) I'm also so grateful to be continuing through the holiday season with my Voices of Liberty colleagues, as we sing in the infamous tree for Epcot's Candlelight Processional. A cast of 16 vocalists are on mic for every show, and it's a guaranteed joyous show, every time! I have also been privileged to join the team of clinicians who helped teach and conduct WDW's Cast Choir rehearsals this year - as well as stand in as a Substitute Narrator for the show. (But don't worry - the celebrities never miss a show!)
Back at Universal Studios!
In August of 2021, I was also lucky enough to be recalled to work, part-time, as a performer in Tales of Beedle the Bard, in Diagon Alley. I've been a part of this show since April of 2015 and it felt like coming home again to help tell such a beautiful tale. My shifts are sporadic, so feel free to message me if you care to catch one of my shows!
SURPRISE! I'm a mom now... of TWINS!
On April 1, 2021 (Yes, that's right - April Fools' Day) - my husband and I welcomed two identical twin boys, Atticus and Lincoln, into the world! It's been quite the wild ride ever since - and I am so grateful to be thriving as a working mom to two wonderful boys. If you like baby spam, follow their adventures on Instagram: @therowantwins
Projects During Quarantine
During your time at home, I was a part of Voices from Home, with WDW. Click HERE for a friendly video from all of us! I also was lucky enough to narrate a joint audiobook with my husband - which you can find HERE. We also kept our folk music duo of Rowan and the Rose going through at home concerts.
